Our Story

A couple of chefs, doing what we love.

After many years in the culinary industry, we wanted to do more, and so we did. North Coast Catering started in the food van world, and now covers events of every kind from our Launceston kitchen, across the Tamar Valley, and along the North Coast.

Food is more than something to eat. It's what brings people to a table, what marks a moment, and what people remember long after the plates are cleared.

We're not in this because it's a good business. We're in it because we love what food does when it's on a table between people. This shines through in the way we cook, the way we plan, and the way we turn up on the day.

Between us we've cooked for weddings, corporate dinners, festivals, markets, milestone birthdays, and plenty of things that didn't fit any of those categories. Whatever your event is, chances are we've done something like it before.

Our menus shift with what's actually good at the time. That means the spring wedding menu doesn't look like the autumn one, and you get produce when it's at its peak, not when it's been sitting around.

North Coast Catering caters from our Launceston kitchen across the Tamar Valley and the North Coast. No travel surcharge across our regular service area; further afield by arrangement.

Our home base. Most events sit within the city or a short drive from it, with no travel surcharge inside our regular service area.

Tamar Valley

Vineyards, river venues, and weddings between Launceston and George Town.

North Coast

Devonport, Burnie, and Ulverstone - the namesake region we cater regularly across.

East Coast

Marquee weddings on the coast around St Helens and Bicheno.
